Interesting analogy observed: The HK Govt spends the past 20 years ignoring the pressure building up in society, and arrogantly rejecting and ignoring the reasonable expectations of the populace. CX management spends the past 20 years ignoring the pressure building up within the ranks of the pilots, and arrogantly rejecting and ignoring the reasonable expectations of the pilot work group.

Well, we know how it's turning out for the HK Government....

Yeah but your comparing apples to oranges.

The pilots have less backbone than the jellyfish that leads them. There will NEVER be a revolt by the pilots. Just look at how many are slaves to their fuel graph. Just look at how many sold out themselves and their colleagues to take a furtherance in their career.

Move along... Nothing to see here.

i wouldn't exactly call training a 'career furtherance'.
It certainly is a hinderance to one's social life.

Amen! Not to mention the inevitable pressure to move unqualified and incapable pilots along in the various training and checking processes. I wouldn’t want my name or conscience connected to that.

So we are all agreed then? CX is :mad:ck:mad::mad:. Still, some will continue to look through their ever so rose coloured glasses and pretend that there is still a career to be had. Amazing really.

100% Command pass rate.
Well this has never happened before.
On the other matter; All of the training Captain "volunteers" (except a couple) are all low time, low experience and new.
So to this add arrogant, impressionable and vain. Clearly a requirement over ability.

I think that analogy is an injustice to jellyfish....

We will never win anything. Remember when the AOA fought 3 crew LHR while requests to fly the pattern went through the roof.....

HK today, CX tomorrow. Too many common signs.

Society is broken, and the HK Govt has seemingly lost control. It is likely that business and tourism will now begin to collapse. CX will be brought down along with those two factors. If it wasn't bad enough that CX management was hell bent on self destruction, they now have two more horses of the apocalypse to help them to ruination. If you don't get out now while you still can...you deserve the miserable fate that awaits.
