What if you use the g450 and only one technology stop halfway between Cape Town and Buenos Aires?Is it affected by etop?

A friend of mine used same type to fly to SA for the FIFA World Cup a few years ago from Sao Paulo. As I recall, they used Windhoek FYWH as a tech stop heading to Joburg and Walvis Bay FYWB for the trip back to Brazil.
