This appears to be a common sense decision.

Why only officers pensions (at least according to the article), or is that a RAF thing? (I'm ex Army and only reached the dizzy heights of warrant Officer, but would love for my wife to inherit my mil pension, for what it's worth, should I die before her)
If her husband (remember she's still legally married according tot he article) died, would she still get his too?
If she were now to divorce her husband, I assume her divorce settlement would take this pension, plus anything else inherited from her now deceased partner, into account
Just asking/curious, no thoughts either way, as long as the ruling applies equally to both sexes
I am confused, how do you prove exclusivity when you are married to someone else.....
