Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any info/advice on the current job prospects in Australia for an EASA Licensed Engineer (current living/working in the UK) with full B1 type ratings on multiple long haul aircraft. I understand most of the work is contract work and it is very hard to get in with the major airlines.
I will be moving to OZ next year on a holiday working visa which means I can only work for one company up to 6 months, which obviously isn't ideal, it does however allow me 3 years in Australia. I was hoping that I would be able to use this time to get my foot in the door and hopefully find a job role with an opportunity for sponsorship. Any ideas/info would be highly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Tom
