Is anyone in the south of England expecting a flypast this evening?

So, there was this one time, I think it was 2004, when a B52 accidentally flew past at Blackbushe instead of Fairford...

I think it was Farnborough it was supposed to be giving a flypast to when the Sunday market goers at Blackbushe got a surprise...!!

Not quite the correct story, but 4 years earlier a B1b actually did flypast Blackbushe west to east instead of Farnborough, refusing to accept vectors from the Farnborough Radar controller, the pilot spotted an airfield and convinced himself it was the correct one.
With the B52, the pilot saw the correct airfield but opened up all 8 throttles as he turned inbound causing him to somewhat 'overshoot' his intended track from east to west. A couple of days later I made sure this didn't happen again by positioning him on the reciprocal runway some 8 miles out.
A couple of years before that, a B2 inbound for a flypast was told to head for the Odiham TACAN and couldn't find it but did accept radar vectors!

There is Barksdale BUFF appearing at next weekends RIAT and in better news, it is been 3 weeks since Minot Buff had emergency landing at the 'Hall (laround the week of Le Bourget ). So two of the engines need replacing so this had been done, however I am led to believe there are more complications. In short its going to be AOG for a while.

Took theses photos below last week.

Cheers
