Recruitment day Virgin Australia

Hi everyone am very new to this forum so bear with me.
i I applied for Virgin Australia cabin crew back on the 31st march 2019. I did the online video and 2 weeks later got a a eMail to say I'd be invited to a recruitment day of which am still waiting on! Is this the normal to wait this long? Shall I just carry on waiting untill I hear? Am based in Melbourne also.
If anyone could let me know if they are waiting or what have been in the same situation that would be great.

Wow that's crazy.am confused how at the beginning it's all rush rush and now absolutely no word. How long is a piece of string I guess. Wonder what takes so long

My friends friend has been called up for grounds school. She mentioned it may have been around 19th August. Have you heard anything? Just a very long waiting game

I heard nothing from the recruitment team unfortunately..
Did she mean the next recruitment day in MEL could be the 19th of Aug or next schedule for ground school?

No shes on the next training which starts the 19th August in Melbourne.
It's seems to be taking forever just to get to the recruitment day. I hope we all hear something soon.
