hi,

i've changed my airplane's oil for over 30 years.. I like to do it every 35 hours or so. Had 2 normally aspirated 210s and it
was routine to R/R the oil filter. Just got a 1968 T210H. Is there an easy way to get to the oil filter? My mechanic (who has never
wrenched on a T210) seems to think the bracket airfilter housing has to come off and the turbo inlet tube needs to come off.

This seems crazy to me. Is this the "only" way to get to the oil filter, or is there a mechanic's trick?
I do use the tempest (fairly short) filter torque wrench. The Tempest filter itself is a bit shorter for the T210 model,
than the standard 210. I just want to know the easiest way to do a quick oil change with filter. Thought maybe someone
on this forum owns a T210. thanks!
