Some of the recent DEFO hires have failed the 747 course due lack of ability to fly an aeroplane.

What do you do? Cut them? Improve the offer to get pilots who can fly? Improve the training?

No, you do the it the CX way, put them on the Bus.

CX should change the advertising - Pilots need not apply, anyone will do.

Indeed, the 'bus' has been the place they send all pilots lacking aptitude from the boeing conversion over the last few years. Problem solved.

Idiot proof. Allegedly.

I thought we went over this already. You make sure when you hire them they have a social media account, setup an interview with SCMP and get them to trashtalk their former colleagues all the better to make themselves look more aviatorish... then leverage their high profile antics online to attract more of same. Rinse, repeat. Easy peasy. Recruitment has never been easier.

Back to watching other airline personnel strike. They make it look so easy....

You guys have no idea, they didn't fail the 747 course. You do that first then go to the Bus for differences training for the Common Type Rating 747/350.
