News about the NPA FCL-3 15 (visual requirements)

Hi,

The last meeting of the JAA Medical Team was in June to discuss about the new visual requirements as proposed in the NPA FCL-3 15 (+/-5 diop. at inital and +/-8 at renewal).

I rang up the AMS at Gatwick today to have some news about this meeting: they think that the new visual requirements will be accepted within 6 months !! :D

Interesting msg,

I went to Gatwick yesterday to get news but to no avail. They wouldnt tell me zip.

6 months? Is that from June or August (mute point). The only thing that is stopping me going for a job is this rule, therefore a lot riding on it.

I just hope that they'll make it within 6 months and not within 6 years...... It's been a while now that we are waiting for the application of this NPA in Europe (ex UK) .:rolleyes:
