What happened to those folk we used to see on TV going around checking that an aircraft was fit for service? Doesn't anyone check for cleanliness at all? This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened.

Horrified British Airways passenger finds dried VOMIT all over his business class seat (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7109023/British-Airways-passenger-finds-dried-VOMIT-business-class-seat-flight-Seattle.html)

To be fair, BA had the foresight to print "Not to be used as a seat" on it. :O

Given some of the alleged food BA are serving up nowadays I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often

Two hours into the flight before he noticed it ?

Quite possible, it is a fold down seat for your feet or when you want to turn the seat into lie flat mode.

Sorry but this is journalism at it worse. The headline 'vomit ALL OVER the seat'. The photo clearly shows it was not. The passenger was 'FORCED TO SIT IN THE VOMIT'. No, he asked for a blanket to cover it SO HE COULD PUT HIS FEET DOWN'. I am not defending BA, rather criticising very poor and inaccurate journalism.

Dried vomit anywhere on a business class seat costing thousands is not acceptable
