This work really appeals to me for some reason and I think I will really enjoy it as a career. So like anyone else would, I applied to do a Aeroskills course at a trade school and hopefully that will lead to an apprenticeship. Anyway what I was asking is what skills should I brush up with before getting started? The course starts in about a month and I would like to get my skill set sorted so I don't fall behind on some kind of maths I missed out on during my high school years. So what should I study while I am waiting? my biggest fear is maths. I'm not particularly bad at it, I just missed a lot of school due to reasons at home. Are there any online courses you could recommend that would be suitable for the type of work I will be doing? Maybe an aptitude test would give me a better idea of what I'm dealing with?

what I mean to ask is, is good work ethic and dedication alone enough?
