,Gregory Bell of Gee Bee's Aerospace shop at Essendon Airport, died on Wednesday 15 May. He was diagnosed with cancer last year. Greg was a well known figure to the many student and professional pilots that learned to fly at Essendon. He had a welcoming smile for everyone and will be sadly missed.

Wow! Was only at the EN Terminal yesterday noticed a sign on his shop window, closing down Greg still in hospital😞
Known greg for many years, odd fella but sweet. RIP.

Bugger: Greg & Gee Bees was one of the features of the old terminal and he was always up for a chat. My 'go-to' spot when a chart or two went missing before a trip!

He'll be sorely missed :(

Funeral Service at Tobin Bros. Chapel, 65 Waverley Street, Moonee Ponds 10 am Thursday 30 May. Celebration of Life for Greg.

Just pop in to one of the numerous flight schools there for one. There's ahhh ummmm there's ummm oh, and ummmmm
Maybe some of the helicopter schools have them. Or the Nissan or Toyota dealership.

RIP Greg. Met him many years ago in mid 90s when dropping into EN on training sorties from country VIC.

A go-to man for any supplies you needed and all round nice guy. I’m sure the aviation community will miss him.

As has been said here, an absolute gentleman, I bumped into him at Ballarat wandering around taking photos and looking somewhat unwell. Many pleasant memories when i worked in the Essendon Terminal. I remember teaching our office manager to drive in the passenger terminal, late one night after a party Took the rear view mirrors off my corolla to squeeze it into the terminal. She came within a whisker of wiping out his whole store. The skid marks remained for many years. That's the ones on the terminal floor, my personal ones were dealt with far quicker.He was also a very forgiving soul.

Not only did he stock pilot supplies, i bought a sauce pan set, that i only recently threw away. The man had everything.

Greg, you are an important piece of the puzzle that comes together to make GA what it is. Cheers and safe travels.
