I consider doing my CPL IR ME in Poland and i would like to migrate my licence to another country to facilitate the whole administration process. I'm French and the French CAA requires that both the CPL and IR examiners be different, which causes obvious troubles to some schools considering that it's hard enough to get 1 examiner that is DGAC approved in their country, so 2 .... Anyway, most of the school i'm in contact with don't mind me going for IAA or the Polish CAA so it's going to be a matter of efficiency and money for the fees i guess.

So i'm looking for feedback from people who did the transfer to one of those CAA, basically how long it took, how much did it cost (transfer, exam fees and initial licence issue) and the complexity of the whole thing. While going for the Polish CAA seems to be the obvious choice for a school in Poland, i heard that the IAA was also a good choice when planning on doing a licence in a foreign country. I will probably do my MCC in Ireland so i dont mind spending some more euros if it makes the whole process a lot simplier and faster in the end.

Thanks !

Try to direct your question to Bartolini Air. The owner is half French and might be able to answer lots in a matter.

Try Austrocontrol. Easy to find examiners as they have a huge list on their website. Also it's easy to solve any issues as they are rather helpful.

Hi Kaillou

I am in the same situation of you.
Finally what have you done ? Can you explain me what are the different procedures ?

Thanks :)
