Yes, they ditched that requirement. Seems fair. They have bases in other countries as well, including Italy.

The pay is so low that it is embarassing.

Expect 1000EU a month before line check, thereafter expect maximum 2,000EU a month if you do max hours.

They still list the Spanish requirement but it isn't actually adhered to anymore.

A pity for the low pay at the beginning, for those who have seniority the pay isn't the worst. Their payscale is organized in levels and depends on flight experience and time in the company.

Those numbers are completely false and I have no idea how you got them. The salary in Vueling is bad but not THAT bad.

Come on man, this is disrespectful!

Probably you have heard this in internet because it’s totally fake, and Vlg isn’t the best payer but come on... you should make a comment about something that you know, if you don’t know anything related the company just keep in silence

Cheers

Does anyone have up to date information about the pay for newly-qualified FOs starting out with Vueling?

It remains to be seen if the 2,000 euro net pay is comprehensive of flight pay. If it is, then Officer Kite's statement seems to be correct.

That page isn't correct, I don't know if it refers to the previous agreement (quite few yars ago) or what.

It says fo base 2000€ net and fo top 2800€, the problem with that is that the base salary (therefore not including sector pay, hours ecc) for the highest levels is above 4000€

The "detailed payscale" section is wrong as well.

As a general idea an FO level 5 (you start level 6 and after one year you become level 5,after that is one level up every two years) can expect an average of 3000-3300€ net , getting close to 4000€ during the summer season. The company is now in the process of updating the salary conditions and they have stated multiple times that the FO money are going to rise to prevent them from leaving. In italy in the meantime the union is about to sign a temporary rise,to be applied to the current contract while waiting for spain to conclude their negotiations.

Again, the money in VLG aren't great and they are definitely below the market, but there are way too many fabrications here about that.

I don't know if now they offer bonds, but it use to be that they give you an OCC date, and by that date you need to have your type rating done, and you can chose where you want to do it, the important is that the day of your occ you have the type on your license
