What is the typical duration of line training a PIC would have to do after initial simulator training when changing aircraft types in the same company? Does your company measure this in hours or sectors? Any info would be appreciated.

Which aviation authority?
FAA (Part 91, Part 91K, Part 135,.....) EASA, CAYMAN, etc
Is the aircraft in the same category as the previous aircraft?
In EASA the company needs to get the acceptance by the Aviation Authority if not done before and not specified in the OM part D.

EASA
The new aircraft is in the same category, only heavier.
I was just wondering how the duration of the line training is at the operator’s discretion or whether there are are certain minimum dictated by the authorities.
