Hi,

I'm shortly to start a CPL A course, already as a holder of a CPL H.

Is anyone aware of any credit to reduce the training requirement below 15 hrs (down from 25 as I have an IR)? A couple of people have suggested it is possible, but I'm yet to see anything written down to support this? I've had a trawl through the EASA documents, but can't find anything regarding this eventuality?

Any knowledge gratefully received!

You get 10 hours reduction, if you hold an IR(A), but if you hold an IR(H) it's only 5 hours credit. The only credit a CPL(H) will give you is that you can count 100 hours PIC towards your 200 hours flight time required for CPL issue.

Thanks very much, I thought it was along those lines.
