I thought it would be interesting to look back at what people said about the future of QANTAS, back circa 2010.

...and if the very arrogant New York hedge fund that could not believe nor accept that Australia was in a time zone AHEAD of the US then Qantas would now be majority owned by the Australian government to prevent it going bust in the GFC which happened just a few weeks after the failed takeover attempt. Oh dear, would look a bit like ANZ except on steroids.

No it wouldn’t. If that takeover went ahead, Qantas would not be here. The Australian Government would not have got involved!
