So it seems that Blackhawk is able to install upgraded engines on Kingairs with G100Nxi. Previously when the question has been asked, it was stated that neither Cessna nor Garmin would allow aircraft to be modified that carried the G1000.

Is this a change of heart by some of the manufacturers.

I don;t know how t remove the underlines - it worked

BTW the new PPRUNE version sucks.

.

As I recall, there is at least one other major upgrade of the Kingair line around, with GE engines instead of P&W, Gramin cockpit etc, all under an STC.
Then Beechcraft made various noises about refusing to provide any support for such modified airframes. US law barring anti-competitive practices seems to have killed that problem, and quite a few modified aircraft have been produced.
Tootle pip!!
