Hi guys,

I need some information about Global Jet Luxembourg urgently.

Yesterday I applied as F/O on Airbus ACJ - today I already got my invitation for interview... (a bit strange / quick?!)

Can you please provide me with all relevant information (also via PM if better for you)?
I read several different things and it would be nice to get a current overview what's really up there.

- How does the interview look like and how long will it take?
- Will they pay my travel costs?
- Roster, payment, conditions on their Airbus Fleet?
- All time away or in between possibility to go/drive/fly home?
- Atmosphere?

etc - all what you know.

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards!

So this guys are still around? Questionable owner already 10 years ago. Did that guy move on or is it still the same?

point 3 from a very former collegue of mine - forget any regulations. YOU are their BITCH. If you can live with that(I can't, I respect myself to much for that) you should be ok. Money(isnt it always for bitches ;-) ) is fine, of course.

Atmosphere, as someone who did that kind of job for a while depends deeply on the owner(which is Global jets market) and his(more importantly) PA. And your other(usually) 3 collegues(sometimes the GA market is kind of a snake pit with collegues that you do not want as your worst enemy).

I returned to airline flying. Much more honesty in that and if you got a crappy FO(and there are more and more around of this breed day by day, my god, is this the future? And they WILL progress to Captain so it will be your problem most likely as well in Global jet, don't worry)) it will be for 1(!) day. If you go for this kind of job you might end up with horrible collegues(and the worst ones I personally met have been in GA, no discussion about that) for the rest of your time with that operator.

Think about it. Very well! Viele Grüße nach Deutschland. Überlege es Dir -SEHR gut!

Vielen Dank! ;- ) Thank you for your answer, tomuchwork!

I also come from normal passenger airline flying and only know this kind of flying. So Executive and/or cargo would be a completely new and different world for me.

Already got experiences with only shuttling around whole Germany and Europe. I was really glad that I could change base last year and come closer to home. I won more time, more life and got more relaxed. This is something I wanna keep. But unfortunately my old employer ceased operation... It's very difficult to find something close to my hometown - that I can also fall into my own bed each night.

All in all I'm a bit clueless at the moment what is the right to do and what would be the best for me and my personal work-life-balance...
