Edward (Sonny) Hillman

I’m looking for any information about my uncle, Edward (Sonny) Hillman Junior, son of Ted Hillman of Hillman Airways. He flew for Hillmans, in the Spanish Civil War, in WW2 and, I believe, for Swedish airways (?) post war, settling in Australia. I’d be glad of any information or steers PPRune members may have to share.

Not directly related to your request but are you aware of a book called Blue Is The Sky by GD Fleming which contains some interesting (and hair-raising) anecdotes about Hillman Airways operations and vivid descriptions of the "Old Man" himself?
