the photo is of the World Airways MD11 tail tip at Bagram (you can even see the "WO" of World on the badly photoshopped photo). If I recall the troops offloading the MD11 did not follow the loadmasters instructions and carried on offloading pallets when there were told to stop ….. But the loadmasters report would say that wouldn't it.

My kid just did a better photoshop job through a Curious George app on his tablet!
But, do the Americans not use a darker blue on the top of the fuselage when in that livery? That light blue is used on the underbelly, IIRC. Plus, it's missing the gold stripe down the centre of the fuselage among everything else from the post above.

Reminded me of the VC10 incident at Brize Norton in 1997. Caused by incorrect de-fueling of the fin tank if I remember correctly...
