I previously undertook an initial C1M in November 2015 at Aviation House, which looking back at my records cost £344.00.
I'm now about to undergo another initial, however it appears the CAA have farmed this out to 3rd parties and I'm now looking at a bill of £696.00
I believe some of this cost is associated with drug & alcohol screening that has been introduced - however can anyone else advise how the cost has more than doubled?
For comparison, I've also applied for a New Zealand C1 Medical and have undertaken the initial examination, at a cost of around £350.00.
