Hi,

I'm an Italian 20 years old boy living in Malta. I will soon leave this country to find a better place for my studies. I'm interested in an integrated ATPL course and during my reserch I found this "Johannesburg School of Flying" in South Africa that offers this program for around 490 thousands Rand, that is roughly 30 thousand euros. So I'm writing here to see if any of you could help me in this matter and maybe give me some information given by personal experience with this school

Ciao Azazel, check if they offer EASA license (at least you don't want to work in South Africa),
I think that there are better choices around Europe.
Check countries like Poland,Sweden,Greece and so on.Ciaoo

Hi Azazel,

I would advise against Johannesburg School of Flying, they are colloquially known as "Johannesburg School of Fright" due to a somewhat poor safety reputation.

I would suggest you look at Central Flying Academy also located at Rand Airport (FAGM) as an alternative.

Thank you both for the reply.
Spartan42, and why is that? You heard good things about Central Flying Academy?
