Hi,

I am an ex-RAF maintainer at Coventry University. I'm currently researching how maintainers avoid making errors and manage situations where errors have occurred.

At the moment I am focussing on the fixed wing commercial aircraft maintenance domain.

Its vital that I get input from the guys and girls actually doing the job at the sharp end as I'd like to produce something the industry can actually use to inform procedures and training in the future. So I'd really like to have individual 30-45 minute chats with maintainers at all levels from line, hangar, bay and AOG environments to help me with this research. Ideally face to face (happy to travel to you) or via Skype. The project is bound by the University ethics guidelines, so anything anyone tells me is confidential.

If you would like to take part, please e-mail me at: [email protected]

Many thanks in advance,

Mike Newman
