Hi guys. Thinking in joining Ryan as a DEC and would like to know how are the vacations days assigned. I would have a Ryanair contract and been told I can split my 30 vacation days in blocks of 5 days so you can have 13 days of in a row like 6 times a year.

is that true?

Thanks.

Not sure if it’s changed, but when I was there you had to take one winter month off as leave, leaving you just two 5 day blocks for the rest of the year and you were very unlikely to be able to use those in the summer.

It depends where you’re based, believe certain countries such as Italy have the new system already. Not yet in Uk/ireland and some others but should be like that in the next year or two

If you’re in one of the countries / bases with the new annual leave deal, as far as I know you get 4 blocks of 5 days (ie 4 x 13 in a row throughout the year) and 5 x individual days to take as and when you need them.

As I’m based in the UK where this deal is not available yet I’m not 100% sure of the details so I stand to be corrected.
