View Full Version : Bush Flying in Myanmar?

I have just finished (and survived) 4 years of bush flying in Tanzania, which I loved but the political situation got the better of me there.

Does anyone know if there are any bush flying operations in Myanmar? My wife is applying for a teaching job there and I'm looking around to see if there is some of my kind of flying to do :)

Many thanks in advance!

Mike :)

Hevilift operates (operated?) some Twin Otters from Yangon. Other than that, I believe its mostly ATR sized or bigger.

Every bigger village has a (millitary) 6000ft paved runway, hence 'bush' flying isn't really required here. The amount of small aircraft is limited. ATR do connect most places with the main hubs.
