I read today Ryanair now own all of Laudamotion.
Anyone know the plan reference the Airbus fleet and growth plan?
Do you think PMI will become a base as per the laudamotion future plan?

Looks like RYR is anticipating a hard Brexit and looks of another EU AOC ? . After Easy jet, looks like Austria civil register is going to expand rapidly .
Looking at the history of Laudamotion aircraft the last 14 montks , ( Nikki, air berlin , Eurowings , Condor, and now RYR, ) I would not be surprised if the Airbus fleet moves somewhere else .

Presently: 19 aircraft based in VIE, DUS, STR, PMI.
11 are A320/321s - the rest B738s operated by RYR on wetlease.

The plan is for
2019: Phase out the A321s, grow fleet by 6 aircraft, 5th base will be announced
2020: 6mio pax
2022: 40 aircraft total, 10mio pax, company profitable

Are they changing to an all B737 fleet to be in line with Ryanair or remain an A320 operator?

As for now it looks like they‘re going for an A32x fleet

It looks like they started recruiting for PMI base already.
Is STR base already full ?
Do you guys have a idea about the roster pattern ?

Why would RYR need TWO EU AOCs?

Why would RYR need TWO EU AOCs?

To play one aviation authority off against the other?

Flexibility?
With Ryanair and unions now engaging it may be more prudent not to have everything arranged from Ireland under tis laws.
Fleet review for renewal in due course I guess, which will then see fate of A32x renewal or B737Max introduced.
Airbus has a huge order backlog, as does Boeing, depends who will offer which benefits to its customer (Ryanair or Laudamotion)
