Cmon whoever started the thread. Are you really that blind!
Once again, “maybe if you vote yes, we’ll think about opening them in March.” Is the timing suspicious?

Youd better believe it.

Do you think they will open if we vote yes? No!

Do you think they will open if we vote no? No!

From the newest 'brushwinger' to the oldest jaded skipper, none of us are naive or gullible enough to believe the latest Basings crap.

And the GMA's promise of meaningful pay negotiations mid Feb are a joke too. If all fails then they agree to go to mediation BUT they do not agree to abide by the mediators ruling and instead will award 1% on 1st June. Utter bull****.
Both DFO and GMA have their jobs on the line here folks. Vote NO and see the board kick them out.

A NO vote should help clear out another layer of useless, self-serving managers. The only way to get this train back on the tracks is to force the owners to realise there is a serious problem, and one that is getting worse by the day. A NO vote forces that realisation. Don't be worried about "threats" from our managers (who seem to have made intimidation part of their skill set). Instead, recognise that no matter what the outcome, it at least should provide clarity as to the viability of whether there is a real career left in CX. A NO vote forces management to show their true intentions, and that helps each and every one of us to decide whether the real CX is the one we want to spend our careers with. Don't be afraid of the truth, be more afraid of allowing CX to deceive you and waste more of your career by giving them the tools to slowly boil you to death. That is what a YES vote would provide them. A NO vote is the only sensible response to such a derisory offer, and one that obviously is woefully inadequate, one-sided and dangerous. NO.

(and CK, thanks for the "threat" towards your non-existent offer of basings if we vote NO. You have shown the true cynicism inherent in all of your level and up. Dangled, illusionary carrots won't do it anymore. Pathetic)

Max, who cares about "then what". Let the chaos and panic reside in the management ranks, not ours. I'm serene, confident and secure knowing that I am doing the right thing in voting NO. Our managers however are all morally compromised, knowing that they are trying to sell a turd to their own pilot colleagues. It's always comforting being on the right side of history. United is correct, vote NO and throw the hand grenade back into their midst. TB and CC until the pips squeak....
