Latest FOP update has 99 words for a manager leaving CX after 3 years yet only 33 words for a Senior CN with 31 years in CX.

Enough said!

and the DFO is keenly awaiting the analysis (from a 3rd party consultant non-pilot) of the engagement survey that less than 2 in 10 pilots were “engaged” enough to actually complete!
Quality data set that one!

Probably because flying CX jets for 30 + years safely and efficiently isn't worth commenting on by this lot, and most of the rest of what he got up to is unprintable...

A nursing home somewhere is about to get a rude shock.

Absolutely disgraceful! Tells you everything you need to know about CX FOP. Buyers beware!

If you want to know your value as a crew member to the Swine Group just enter CX City after business hours or on a weekend. The air conditioning is virtually turned off, the escalators are stopped, leftover snack options. Not to mention the lack of a "thank you" from them to Captains last year which will NEVER be forgotten. They have tried to take total control away from pilots by promoting passive, spineless chief pilots and extremely junior and spineless deputies to the chief pilot. There's no one to say NO when a bean counter tries to tell flight ops how to manage their pilots and aircraft in a ridiculously unsafe way. I think we would be better off if the Chinese simply took us over. I think they would at least listen to the subject matter experts even if it meant being given an answer they didn't like.

It's called self aggrandisement.

Good to see someone else also noticed that a 3 year mouthpiece was given more praise than a 31 year captain. It is a sad but true reality when your value and commitment s shown so little appreciation.

Try running an Airline without pilots. O'Leary is just about to give it a go!

Princess, you need to maybe go and do contract work for a Chinese carrier before you shoot your mouth off. If you’re thinking it would be better, you probably should quit now.

MC. Wow you are a snarky lil aussie now aren't you. Lotsa criticism for pilots and their opinions you have. Paid troll perhaps? China better? Nah. But it has an upward trend in quality and safety and CX has a negative one in every way. China is what it is. CX has become an illusion and a shell of it's former self as a premium carrier and it's all by self inflicted womb. In 5 years China will definately be a better gig than CX for a variety of reasons that are blatently obvious to anyone on the front lines. I can't imagine a Chinese carrier or any non CX carrier for that matter overtly disrespecting it's captains the way CX did if it intended to be a functioning airline in 5 years time. Food for thought. Was Swine stupid or evil... Maybe both. No airline could absorb that shot.

And what exactly do you know about working for a Chinese carrier MC? You profess to be an authority on everything yet it's clear that you know nothing. Perfect attributes for a 3rd floor muppet.

Since the more that leave CX the more it costs them and the better any deal with the AOA gets, I take it all back.

Chinese contract jobs are awesome, everyone should sign up tomorrow. The conditions never change, the contract’s cast in stone. Anyone who says anything else is lying to you, do not believe them.

I always enjoy it when MorningCoffee makes an appearance, particularly as it serves to emphasise the panic and disarray that our management are in. When he starts reverting to sarcasm you know the game is just about over.

Ooohhh poor little princesses don't get enough nice words said about them. Who gives a f###, seriously!!!

It's funny listening to people that have been here for a long time and still haven't worked it out that 5 minutes after they leave they will be forgotten. You're just another employee amongst 1000s of others.

The people writing the farewell newsletters don't really give a s### either, they just probably were working with that person in the office.
