Should it have the range to get from Beijing to Georgia then the USAAF must be REALLY worried.

It could be the other Georgia?

I think somebody has their tongue very firmly in their cheek.
My initial guess would be a model imaged with a ground shot print placed in the background ( there is a range of kits of it available).

Why does the trailing edge of the stbd fin look so ‘munched’?

From the website above’s own article:

”Rupprecht has authored some of the most authoritative books on Chinese military aircraft (including “Flahpoint China” and “modern Chinese Warplanes” and written articles for many media outlets. This is how Andreas Rupprecht responded to our questions about what appears in the photo:

“In my honest opinion at second glance, at least in my opinion, it quickly becomes clear that this is just a model: the whole proportions do not fit, the surface looks wavy, just as if some thin material was stretched on or over a frame or at least mated in parts that do not fit correctly – especially since the J-20 has an impressive manufacturing and surface quality. Also, the engines – and the AL-31FN are very characteristic – are completely wrong: they sit too deep and do not have the typical shape of the afterburner nozzles, even more the main landing gear is not right.”

Rupprecht went on to write, “The clearest indication in my opinion however in addition to the wobbly surface is that always on the J-20 on the ground as soon as the hydraulic pressure is gone, the rudders on the tail “fall” to the inside in that most characteristic angle. And since the cockpit canopy is covered, which would be the case, this simply does not fit.

So, in essence it would be most interesting to know the true background of this “thing“, who made it for what purpose and why does it stand at this location, but it’s surely not a real J-20.”

Must have happened around 1947 I'd say with the USAAF involved......

IMHO
If it was right ,the front of the building wouldn't be in shadow as the tailplane shows a different light path. Or is that just me?

Nutloose, if you follow the link to the original angle they check out the shadows, building and its tiles, the photographer etc etc.

It's just a full size mockup.

It's black with a red star. Its probably a prop for top gun 2.

Its a crude fake FFS.
Some might remember the p*ss taking I was cheerfully subjected to on this site for doubting very much that, based upon the imagery evidence alone, that the "Stealth Blackhawk " existed, immediately following its claimed use on the Osama Bin Laden raid in Pakistan.
Here we are ,a few months away from the the 8th anniversary of that event ( 2nd May 2011) and..................

Should it have the range to get from Beijing to the other Georgia then the USAF must still be REALLY worried.

Imagine not as well as you clearly still do. Let it go.
