Vortex what...ouch!

This is not another one of those “am I too old threads”. What I would like to see in here is practical experiences that others can learn from. Aimed particularly at the older person who is trying to decide on modular or distance learning and where best to spend the hard-earned money. Whether to learn abroad or in the UK. Time it took to study for the ground exams. Ideas on how to lay out a good CV to get it noticed in this industry. The list is endless.

So if you are 30+ (although if you have something constructive to add age is not really important is it) studying towards the ATPL, have completed it and are looking for work or, if you have recently found work and feel you have something useful and helpful to pass onto others. Then please put it here.

Everything is going to be helpful to someone I am sure.

Thanks.
