The last three types for which I need aircrew/maintainer contacts for a forthcoming two-volume 'Fleet Air Arm Boys' set are the Firefly, anti-sub Gannets (I have a couple of AEW.3 drivers) and, strange as it may seem Harrier/Sea Harrier. Every other post-war type is in the bag, so please do respond if you are one such, or know of anybody. Thanks!

I bet Engines has got some superb SHAR stories from the engineering side.

I can think of one very well know Sea Harrier pilot who contributes frequently to these pages. You may have even read his book Steve!

And no-its not Cdr Ward either.

Thanks to the three Sea Harrier people who have come forward, plus a possible link to a Firefly man. Now if I could just get a Gannet anti-sub driver/observer to come forward, that would be great....

The last call for help please. I just need some Jetstream and Avenger (the new one on 750 Sqn) pilots/maintainers to get in touch to complete the books' coverage.

Thanks in anticipation.

After two and a half years of hard graft interviewing and getting contributions from 215 former and present FAA people, volume 1 of 'Fleet Air Arm Boys' was published yesterday.
