View Full Version : Sudden deluge of spam rendering my oldest address useless.

I'm not sure how long I've had an .sbcglobal.net address, but it must be well over 15 years. It has been very, very good despite the tediously long name to spell out to folk. In the last few weeks I logged off and tried a couple of old addresses to see if they still worked. Logged back into the ATT Yahoo original, and it worked but I soon noticed the spam.

Prior to this I rarely got any spam. I can only conclude that it was due to a vigilant team at Yahoo, killing off all the regular nonsense.

I wonder if the fact I'm not still an ATT phone subscriber makes any difference. It's getting on for five years since I had my American home but I fear they may have noticed the lack of custom. They made me log off every two weeks or so for security reasons. So my address and password were regularly tested.

I've searched for Spam on, Spam off kind of setting, but can't find anything. Can anyone help save an email address that I've lost count of contacts on?
