View Full Version : Virgin rail website

We always book our rail travel through the Virgin Rail website.
Safari (on a mac) will not load Virgin websites? It's fine using Firefox and on my mobile phone but always comes up as unobtainable in Safari.
Personally I think it something to do with Google as the name keeps coming up in the Virgin website.
If (in Safari) I type the 'proper' web address (www.etc) it always has some sort of Google mention in the address appearing in the address window, this does not happen in Firefox.
Dispute between Mac and Google?
Anyone any thoughts on this.

I have no problem accessing https://www.virgintrains.co.uk.

I'm using macOS 10.12.6 and Safari 12.0.1

It opens straight away on my Mac (Safari 12.0.1. and MacOS 10.14.1). Have you perhaps installed some sort of helper tool or content blocker in Safari? Have a look under 'Safari - Preferences - Extensions' to see what's installed.

Funfly - your 'family security settings' are set to exclude the word: Virgin :=
