Hi all,

I live in a country where the need (and thus cost coverage) for psychological counseling and therapy are assigned through your family physician. So in a health critical industry, it will be an accessible information for medicals issuers and maybe employers. It will however not be specified wether you have minor or major issues. In my case, I have contemplated having some therapy sessions due to a re-surfacing situation in my original family - I do not share my life much with them due to some real serious issues, but even at a distance, I am affected, so i would like to sort some stuff out there.

I am however always very conscious of the data traces I leave in the health care system, and would like to hear wether this is in any way critical with employers? I can see their position absolutely, for they see an indication of mental health issues but not if the applicant is just worried or full fledged deranged. So it may become some kind of a gamble for them.

What is your experience with this?
