Any Current B 737 opportunities in Europe

Currently unemployed with 10,400 hours total time, 3182 hours on B 737, 2061 hours on B 767 and 1973 hours on B 757 and with 5000 plus hours in Command on those Boeing Types. TRI rating with instructional experience on the B 737 - 800 . Having great difficulty finding work due to date of last flight being Nov 2017 due to a recent medical suspension and having an OML limitation placed on the medical.

Recruitment agencies seem very poor "the computer says no" when date of last flight or OML is mentioned. If anyone has any hot leads that could lead to possible employment opportunity would be very grateful.

Jet2 would probably bite your hand off as they are feeling the pain in the training dept. You'd have to want to live up North though!

Don't waste time with agencies, contact airlines directly. There are many who should want to 'bite your hand off'! From 'gossip' an 'unemployed B737 pilot' should be becoming a contradiction of terms shortly, if not already. (And take note of any caveats that you may read on PPRuNe pages to work things out for yourself.)

Read the OP. He's a TRI and presumably would want to continue that. Generally speaking, southern based TRI/TRE's aren't exactly full of love for constant trips up the M1.

The 'gossip' that I have heard is that guys in that line of work see it the other way around: "Try passenger airlines provided that you have nothing against arriving back at 2am after a very long duty with a bunch of potentially unruly pax".

Side view: take RYR, any base. They WILL get you up in the air. Then push them a bit for a TRI pay and/or base where you live:
- if not you have an excuse to leave and pick any of the fine suggestions above
- if yes I hear that RYR out of your home town is one of the nicest QOL jobs we have in Europe.

Could you be more specific ? As far as I know, it's a new improve pay scale for every base of the network, no change on the planning system. They only offer permanent contract the T&C's are very good, especially for cpt. There is possibility of self employed but for cpt only and very specific base.

Company I was working for went out of business last month.
Although, I have been lucky with 2 interviews, no luck. It seems that a self motivated SFO, who is keen and capable is no use to anyone.
