Now everybody had a different view of wearing a Poppy, the Poppy Fascists who demand everybody must wear one
have turned may people off from a Freedom of Choice issue.

However this is even worse than this.

It is a US President of Southampton University Students Union who insisted she would engage in Cultural Vandalism
'is destroying a Mural which honours people killed in WW1 because it only contained White Men.

Her clear Feminists and Cultural Agenda is there to see for all and shows a crass ignorance that is difficult to believe.

Some Student Unions have a recall option such that a sitting President, whom students fees go to subsidise a Years
sabbathical, can be recalled and booted out.

One hopes Southampton SU has such, then said individual would have to spend her time justifying her obnoxious
behaviour.

The Daily Heil stirring up [stuff] as usual. Talking of crass ignorance, I see that her twitter feed is filled with gammons getting angry at her today.

Just think - If you didn't read the Daily Mail you wouldn't be exposed to carp like this, and you could have a much calmer, nicer life.

Why is a bag of spanners dumb? I think we should be told.

Why not focus on what this lady wishes to do rather than abusing the Media.

It's also on the spittle flecked, fascist, ultra right, BBC.

:ugh:

She has now added this to her Twitter feed....

'white people' are 'so so ignorant and closed minded'.

That, by any measure, makes her an out and out racist.

I just wish that the University had the balls to tell her that she had bought their name into disrepute and were withdrawing their offer of teaching her degree.

Southampton Uni seems to have the knack of attracting the "finest".....

A PAEDOPHILE who was previously jailed for having the UK's worst collection of child porn was caught again but avoided jail after arguing he would lose his place at a top university.
Six years ago Barry Shaw was jailed for two years after he fantasised about kidnapping toddler Madeleine McCann and downloaded thousands of horrific child sex abuse images.
Now the former Civil Service accountant, who has a 'dependency on pornography', has dodged jail after he was again found with child porn on his laptop.
In court his lawyer claimed if he was jailed, the 38-year-old would lose his spot at a university he has enrolled at - as well as his student accommodation.

Noticeable that she herself is lily white.

Saintsman
25th Oct 2018, 21:17
She is free to say whatever she wants. However not everything said is without consequences and whilst this is perhaps an extreme example, if someone said that they were going to kill her because of her views, I doubt she would be saying it's okay because it's 'free speech'.

Don't let the fact that she has now apologised get in the way of a good story.

And how would it have been received if she had instead said:
'Black people' are 'so so ignorant and closed minded'.

fairly sure the police would be involved.

Don't mistake an apology for being found out as being what she really thinks.

Voting rights for women were introduced in Britain in 1918 as a direct consequence of the role of women in making victory in the Great War possible. The vast majority of those women would have been white, the Windrush being but a gleam on the horizon of the future. In disrespecting the men from British universities, of all colours and backgrounds, who served and died in the Great War, Emily Dawes draws attention only to her own ignorance and counter productive talents as a representative of anything other than bigoted ignorance. She should be deported and in more colonial times might well have been tarred and feathered first. An apology is nothing more than a plea for continuance of her pestilential behaviour.

Don't let the fact that she has now apologised get in the way of a good story.

While there has been a considerable amount of negative reaction aimed at the SU president, is anyone aware of how much support she received from other areas which agreed with her? Too many of these articles which get lambasted by a certain demographic are also heavily supported by others, and the fact she thought enough of the subject to post it in the first place would imply that she will have similar views on other topics.

I suspect the apology was only giving her time to build up a better defence for her actions, or to allow her to acrue points for victimhood status

I'm offended that spanners have been maligned.
I'll have you know that the spanners in my garage are highly flexible and can be adjusted to accommodate all sorts of nuts.
Unlike the lady with the fixed viewpoint.

Nope, she can say what she likes but not always where she likes, with her 'rights' come responsibilities.

Let’s not be confused by the “apology”. Nor is this lady necessarily dumb, just working to an agenda in a way which, in any other context, would be deemed racist and unacceptable. Why is racism ok when directed at white people?

Maybe, maybe not. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I'd be inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Some spanners are adjustable, after all. :O

She has a clearly stated objective and doubt a single issue where there was opposition to will change that.
But no doubt she will seek a career in politics.

Probably a silly (but genuine) question.
Would that be taxable? Or is that sort of income exempt?

A student called Jack Hayes has tweeted...

"letter just in from student finance, have officially hit the big 50K of student debt at the tender age of 23! thank you to everyone that has made this milestone possible @ UKGovernment @ Nick Clegg @ Capitalism"

However, he goes on to reveal what this is being spent on...

"Working on franco-italian petrarchism, literary communities, queer theory renaissance."

His "milestone" is a self inflicted millstone.

.... In court his lawyer claimed if he was jailed, the 38-year-old would lose his spot at a university he has enrolled at - as well as his student accommodation. I'm one of those troglodites who live in America and fail to understand this lawyer's argument. This individual should not only "lose his spot at a university", he should lose his spot to walk freely amongst society (in other words, he should be jailed for a long long time.) Can someone enlighten me why this individual has a right to attend university and why this right trumps society's right to protect its children from such monsters?

I am the most oppressed minority around.
I am old, white, male. hetero, married and with 2 kids.
Who is going to the barricades for me?
Who is protecting me from ideas that I do not want to hear?
Where is my safe space? (Other than my man cave)
