Dubai Fitness Challenge is back for a second year. The Company sais to wait a bit before joining the challenge (although it starts in 10 days on October 26th) until they publish a "step by step guideline".

Hopefully they will offer the incentive SRC Ticket as last year. Fingers crossed. Make sure to sign up if they do, I flew with a lot of pilots who didn't sign up last year, and missed that useful reward.

They’ve already implied there won’t be any incentive this year. They’ve said your getting fit is an incentive already.

If if there’s no SRC ticket in the deal I can’t be bothered messing with their app for a month.
Watch their participation dwindle from 13,000 to 6.

Also disappointing, but expected. They want to harvest our data for their benefit without any compensation in kind. If their goal was really simply to incentivize fitness amongst the staff, then why are they so exceptionally concerned that we register under the corporate banner? If their motivation was strictly for our fitness benefit shouldn't they just encourage registration as an individual, then, rather than cajoling us to donate our efforts to Emirates' corporate goal?

The app itself was rubbish and the top candidates were lying to themselves.

Of course we all know that the fitness app will need to be deleted and reinstalled many times over the month of November because "new features" ya know.

Even then, it will hang, produce errors and tell you that you need to provide passport copies, visa copies, marriage certificate (certified by 50 different agencies in 4 countries)....

Who cares! Far more important things to occupy your time than this. If you don't like the app don't download it. There, all your problems are fixed .

Or, you could take your own advice. There are far more important things to occupy your time than this. If you don't like the conversation, don't comment on it. There, all your problems are fixed.
