There are approximately 800 glaciers in Italy spread between these regions from west to east: Val D'Aosta, Piemonte, Lombardia, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. There is also one in Central Italy but it's pretty much gone. it's called Ghiacciaio del Calderone.
It depends where you go, some areas are very remote, you can land where ever you want, some other areas might have some restrictions. Some of these glaciers have flat areas some are steep and some very steep.

We need landing at Brenva Galcier in Courmayeur area. There are no aerial restriction zones but what say the other rules ? Heard that all landings above 1800m require some kind of allowances. So it may be an altitude restriction not area.

Do you know about it ?
