Just returned from a very pleasant visit. Have been advised by them that with effect from 11 October until 30 November West Wales Airport (EGFA) will have AFISO training in progress. Subject to the following conditions no landing fees will be charged.

Monday to Friday only.
All flights within published aerodrome hours (0900-1630 local time)
PPR via telephone (01239 811100)

Maybe they've adopted the old Ryanair Model...

It's free to land, but costs you double to takeoff :E

Monday to Friday only.

Fixed and rotary winged GA up to 2000 KG
PPR via telephone (01239 811100)

Just in case someone raises the issue again, take-offs also free!

Bit too far out for Liverpool (I know you're only joking!), however it's approximately a 2hr drive between there and Cardiff! Shame the runway can't handle a 737-800 though.
