Dear fellow aviators,

I just wanted to ask you your opinion on these working patterns. I had never seen any operator use them, but recently met a couple of people.

One working in bizjets, due to pilot shortage and the "incapacity of finding pilots" had been for 6 months withouth free days except for occasional maintenance.

The other one working in multi-piston calibration stuff, just said "it was the way the company worked".

Do you see this as normal? What does regulation such as EASA Part-FTL have to say about it?

Thanks, fly safe!!

Regards

Hodin

Have a look at ORO.FTL.225 and CS FTL.1.225 and you will find answers to your questions.

Hi Hodin.

Thanks for your input. Have been going through the boring paperwork for a while, regarding the "reserve days" as called by Easa there does not seem the be a definite limit. Quite surpising imo.

Thanks, fly safe.
