EVA Air Type Ratings

Where do EVA send their pilots for a type rating on 777, 320, 330, 747?

Im hearing stories about them not being ICAO and recognized outside of EVA/Taiwan so does this mean they are done in house or at a recognised training facility like CAE, Boeing, Flight Safety etc with some kind of stipulation?

Are their any big drawbacks that might affect your career further down the road that anybody is aware off?

Hi! Did an in-house training in Taiwan (not at EVA) and had no problem in converting it into EASA license afterwards.

Thanks for that, may I ask who you do it with if not EVA and what the TR is like in terms of their professional standards and how long it takes.

Is it rushed with the so called fire hose effect or done over a decent amount of time?
