Obviously both airlines deny this, but realistically how bad would this combination be? aside from the billions invested in infrastructure, if they were combined it would allow for without a doubt the biggest airline and connections hub(s) in the world.
Going out of a limb here but if something like the Hyperloop were installed, a 10 minute ride could use both major airports as terminals. I would imagine the political side would get in the way more...
