Good Evening All

Would you be able to suggest a good power back-up system.

I recently had around 10 very short power-cuts in the area within the space of a week, and of course the computer shuts down instantly! Oh, it does not like that at all. I am thinking of having something like a battery pack which would step in as the mains power drops off, and then find a way to get my computer to shut down normally when the battery pack (or alike) has taken over. Hope that makes sense.

As always, Thank for your help

An APC Uninterruptible Power Supply , used them from mundane things like faxes up to entire business networks, top quality & never failed me. A small, inexpensive one will allow you to shut down in a controlled manner (or even do it automatically) & a larger one will give you enough time to continue working, possibly until the supply is restored.
