Hi all,

On the off chance just wondering if anyone had copies of old BCARs hanging around. Specifically Section K "Light Aircraft" (K2 should be of interest to some on here) at Issue 1. On a splurge of finding some interesting old data and books for a collection. Soft or hard copy would be useful. I've already got some of the re-issues so specifically looking for Issue 1.

Have been finding some most excellent reading lying around for swaps if anyone is interested. Holding a 1979 copy of A&AEE "Handbook Of Test Methods For Assessing The Flying Qualities And Performance Of Military Aircraft" if anyone likes that sort of thing.

TIA

I'm a bit of an aviation documents kleptomaniac, and after pressure from the office manager and wife respectively, most of that has been scanned and then the paper recycled (or donated to the local university library)..

I can do you a full scan of BCAR Section K issue 7 from 1992, or BCAR Section D issue 2 from 1951 if either are any use to you. if you have an interest in lighter aeroplanes, I've issues 3, 5 and 6 of Section S and various electronic copies of versions of JAR, CS, and FAR 22, 23 and VLA, as well as a scan of a 2003 (UK) CAA Handbook for Continued Airworthiness Flight Testing.

If you have scanned the AČEČ handbook, or of the earlier Section K versions I'll gladly swap you. boffin at engineer dot com will reach me by email.

I've already got Issue 7. Was hoping some sort of collector might have kept copies of Issue 1 specifically.

I'll have a scan of A&AEE doc soon and will send it on. Its quite a 'fun' read.

Things like that are always interesting - and I'm in slow negotiations about possibly revising Darrol Stinton's books, so would be a handy source of reference for that also.
