Delta just announced Tampa to Amsterdam next year. Interesting since this is just 90 miles away from Orlando which just started this year. That's a lot of new lift between the two cities and wonder if the 2 routes could compete against each other and make both of them lose? I hope they are both successful and know there are airport incentives but hope the hype and rapid expansion doesn't make them both fail. Perhaps one but it would be terrible to see 2 routes fail by splitting the demand when one can hopefully and easily be profitable. This will be interesting to watch.
Separately Delta announced they will discontinue PIT-CDG. Interesting to see aircraft moved to other routes in addition the delivery of A350's is freeing up some 767's.
