Looking for a chopper spotter or happy to look at another option to move our B206 in and out of the hangar.

I have a friend with a 206-L4 who has a Paravion Heliporter (http://www.paravion.com/products/heliporters/) that he likes.
It seems to be very well built, albeit kinda expensive.
I DO NOT recommend anything from SkyPro in Jacksonville, FL. (they have classified ads under the name Bill Hay on Barnstormers) I bought a transporter from them in December, and after numerous delays (too many to count with some ridiculous excuses) I finally got the basic frame in April but not the adapters to fit my Enstrom F28. They claim the freight company lost them. I finally had to make the needed parts myself, and then had to replace all 6 wheels and tires (the cheap ones SkyPro used collapsed on the 2nd trip out of the hangar) and the rear drive axle snapped in less than 2 months of light use.
Lesson learned- I bought a cheap product and got what I paid for. :sad:

Helicodger, is that still BH and his elastic version of reality? He pulled the same stunt on me 8 years ago! Every excuse except a plague of locusts. I ended up with 2 half finished units, a local engineer did a good job finishing them off.

206 jock- Yep, I edited my post to add the name. The creativity of the excuses actually got to be amusing after the 6th or 7th delay, but the entertainment value was submerged by the frustration. :ugh:

I'm with timprice. A dolly is the best way to move a helicopter. I might buy something other than a lawn tractor to move it, though, like a golf cart or a four wheel ATV. The electric spotters are prone to breaking and are generally a pain in the a** to deal with.
