All this had a sad ending, I know,- but the manufacturers test pilot/s must have been gobsmacked
by the aerobatic capabilities of the aircraft. (Albeit, at a very much reduced weight, sans pax).

cant seem to see many more people talkin about this on here,
i think the guy may have learned fair bit about the starting the engiens on flgiht sim with a few aftermarket realisitic dash 8 simulations however it doenst take much to search the net for litteraly INSTRUCTIONS on how to start a dash 8s 2 engines. We can never tackle that, and therefore the issue here is that aircraft engine starters are not lockable. Thats how i see it.

The one potential result of this event (added to the ones involving that kid from Germanwings and the guy in the Citation) is that the Perfumed Princes of the Kackistocracy, who only do things to benefit themselves and their insatiable lust for power rather than any benefit to the serfs and peasants, is getting their handpicked shrinks to evaluate the mental health of airline pilots...with the ability to end a career.

This should make your blood run cold.

Drug and alcohol testing is one thing but at least there is a measure of science (at some point subject to inevitable human failure in its analysis) in your corner. But anything involving a government shrink is tantamount to seeing the evil village witch doctor for an evaluation using subjective voodoo “science”.

Time will tell where this goes, if anywhere, but you ought to be concerned.
"You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."
