Does anyone by any chance have the left side metal wishbone that connects to the earpiece on an old Bose (2000) ? I am not sure my DIY skills are up to fixing it !! I have tried Bose and they say No ! Many thanks Nigel

I recall years back there was a company in the UK which offered headsets service: Headset Services Limited - Headsets, Helmets and Handsets (http://www.headsetservices.com) at Shoreham. They had good comments from customers.

Another possible source may be at ebay.com or barnstormers.com where inoperative headset could be ocassionally bought for a penny.

Isn’t the wishbone made of plastic or am I looking at the wrong part? I will take a look at our headset junk box tomorrow.

2nd vote for Dave Flackwell, although I think he is more into David Clark and Peltor. He has repaired a couple for me. And he has a helipad!

Many thanks everyone . The wishbone is metal and attaches onto a screw into the headset which it swivels on . I shall try your suggestions and let you know !

Nigel, I have three for the left side. Ours always seem to break on the right side If you drop me your contact details I will send you one.
