FZ stops flights to CGP

FlyDubai recently stopped flying to CGP and with any giving any reason for it, Spoke to a FZ captain who used to fly that route frequently, and he said he was surprised at the decision as the flights were usually full on that route most of the time. Spoke to the ground staff in CGP airport, they did not have much information either.

Both the FZ captain and the ground staff said that they have been hearing that EK might replace FZ on this route.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

The answer is that now FZ and EK are working closer together which means that when the flights are full , EK will take it and we will start new routes with empty airplanes until the load increases and then EK will take over again etc...
They have lost CGP but also Male , Bangkok and many more will follow.

Basically no more Bangladesh despite full flights. There is more to this move than we know is my guess.
